If you look toward Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, you can't miss the progress on ONE Tampa.

This 42-story luxury residential tower has officially topped out, with interior work and exterior finishes now moving forward. Completion is anticipated in 2027.

Its place near the Riverwalk gives downtown another visible sign of the city’s growth. A skyline worth looking up from your phone for.

Here is your blueprint for a beautiful Tampa weekend:

  1. Morning Fuel: Start with a freshly baked bagel at Baygulls Bakery, 10007 W Hillsborough Avenue. Check the current menu for your coffee order and confirm hours before leaving.
  2. The Main Event: Head to the Howard Frankland Bridge shared-use path. The nearly 7-mile walking and biking route has four shaded overlooks above Old Tampa Bay. Access is from the south end of Reo Street in Tampa or the north end of 4th Street in St. Petersburg, sunrise to sunset. You can enjoy a short out-and-back; there’s no prize for walking the whole bridge. Bring water and allow time to finish before closing.
  3. Night Cap: Head back into town and check the Tampa Theatre calendar for your evening. Its centennial falls on October 15, 2026, and Saturday’s lineup includes Zoltan Kaszas at 7 p.m. For film screenings or architectural tours, choose a confirmed date from the theatre’s calendar.
